Dissabte passat, els sis finalistes de la Copa 2020 van disputar un matx amistós contra els companys de Brasil. Ens fa molta il·lusió que els nostres oponents de dissabte estiguin fent un projecte i una comunitat molt semblant als nostres. El matx va ser al millor de 6 taulers, deixant oberta la porta a un hipotètic empat. Hi ha alguna cosa més amistosa?
El primer d’acabar va ser en Samu, que va vèncer en Rodrigo Amorim amb el joc incisiu al que ens té acostumats (107 a 93 i 104 a 91). Quina sorpresa, aquesta vegada va acabar el primer!
En David situava el 2 a 0 a favor nostre en vèncer en Vinny Lessa (82 a 75 i 91 a 80). Ens ve de gust destacar una jugada curiosa que va fer en David: regalar un triangle amb camí a una ciutat gran de l’oponent deixant-ne el tancament al 50%.
Paradoxalment, en cas de no fer-ho, la probabilitat de tancar-la era més alta. Jugada gens intuïtiva i molt difícil de fer. Bravo! Per cert, també destaquem el joc net del jugador brasiler, que va avisar en David que havia descartat una lloseta.
En Dani assegurava com a mínim l’empat per al conjunt català contra en jogodetabuleiro. A la primera partida un error estratègic va costar-li el punt (86 a 85). A la segona i tercera partida va aprofitar algunes errades del jugador americà i no va donar opció (125 a 104 i 106 a 82).
El conjunt brasiler va aconseguir el seu primer punt a través d’en guiziegler, que va superar en Jordi. El català va aconseguir una ajustada victòria al primer round (81 a 79), però no va poder rematar la feina (92 a 113 i 88 a 91). Una llàstima perquè va anar de molt poc.
En Juan Carlos va perdre la primera partida contra en paducastro (80 a 97). A la segona va aconseguir in extremis forçar el desempat (77 a 77). Anem errats o els empats sempre cauen del nostre costat? A la tercera i definitiva en Juanca va acabar cedint per 85 a 108. Una altra vegada llàstima i Brasil que posava molta emoció.
En aquest moment, les possibilitats de victòria passaven per la Carol, que havia guanyat la primera partida i perdut la segona contra jbcloseup (100 a 95 i 93 a 96). Tot a una carta, doncs! A la Carol no la van ajudar massa les llosetes, però sí que ho va fer una imprecisió del rival. La catalana ho va saber aprofitar i va donar el triomf a l’equip català.
Finalment, resultat de 4 a 2 per a Catalunya. Carol i Juan Carlos, benvinguts a la defensa dels colors catalans! Molt bona experiència de jugar un enfrontament amistós, sense la pressió amb la que juguem habitualment els enfrontaments d’aquest tipus. Probablement ho tornarem a fer!

Last Saturday, the six finalists of the 2020 Catalan Cup played a friendly match against Brazil’s teammates. We are very excited that our Saturday opponents are doing a project and a community very similar to ours.The match was the best of 6 boards, leaving the door open to a hypothetical tie.
