Registration for the second edition of the World Team Carcassonne Online Championship is open from today February 1st, until 31st of March. The competition will start from April 5th.
Over the next few days we will publish the updated rules of the championship, which will be an improved evolution of those used during the WTCOC 2020 and the Euro Team Championship 2020. Many of these adjustments have emerged from the feedback received by participants in both competitions.
As we finish these small tweaks, we want to highlight some important aspects about the competition:
- Teams from all countries of the world or regions where the game has been published in their own language can participate.
- Only one team per country or region may be submitted, consisting of a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 10. We encourage all teams to try to get closer to the maximum number of participants, as this will make it easier for them to have the minimum number of players available in each match.
- We suggest that all participating countries and regions start a qualifying process to determine the members of this team.
Before filling in this form, you must have received authorization from Carcassonne.cat to register your team for this event. To request authorization write an email to carcassonnecat@gmail.com. Through this authorization we try to regulate that there is no duplication of registrations by any country or region where a version of the Carcassonne game has been published.
While we offer new updates, we take the opportunity to send a big greeting to all our friends who play Carcassonne from all over the world and we remind you who were the winners of the 2020 edition. See you soon!
