Now that we are close to finishing the WTCOC, we want to inform all European teams that the Carcassonne European Team Championship (ETCOC) will not be held this year.

After many months of deliberation, having spoken with different parties linked to the international scene, and after overcoming the social restrictions due to the covid-19 pandemic, we have come to the conclusion that we must have some space between competitions; We believe that this will facilitate various local and international Carcassonne projects.

We have therefore decided to reconfigure the ETCOC as a biennial celebration. The WTCOC, on the other hand, will continue to be held annually.

We understand that this change may cause some disappointment, but we firmly believe that it is a decision that will help Carcassonne groups continue to be active with a more easily managed amount of activity.
